Our 3 liqueurs are made by macerating organic plants
from wild harvesting, each with particular virtues.
Wild thyme sublimated into a craft liqueur: SERPOLETTE.
Wild thyme, also known as creeping thyme, used in the production of our liqueur SERPOLETTE, has many virtues. Beyond its aromatic qualities, wild thyme is currently used for bronchial problems; it helps to calm coughs and disinfect the respiratory tract. Wild thyme is found in the meadows of our region. Blooming in spring and early summer, we hand-pick the leaves and purple flowers. We do some of the picking ourselves and also have partnerships with herbalist pickers.
A little freshness that transports you to the forest: SAPINETTE
For our SAPINETTE, we use fir needles and buds. Fir resin and the essential oil from the needles have many therapeutic benefits, including for the respiratory system. In addition, thanks to the properties of pinene contained in the needles, other medicinal virtues should be highlighted, such as pain treatment and the reduction of gynecological disorders. All harvesting is carried out in the region, by hand by us, on family plots in Haute-Loire.
A wildflower liqueur: FLEURETTE.
In 2022, a third liqueur was created: FLEURETTE, made from elderflower and meadowsweet, two plants from our region.
Elderflowers have been used since antiquity to fight against colds, and are also renowned for their benefits in cases of respiratory tract inflammation, flu-like symptoms, or bronchitis. There are different types of elder, the one we use is the one that forms black berries, not to be confused with dwarf elder, which is toxic.
Meadowsweet is a plant particularly found in damp areas, along riverbanks, meadows or fields. It measures between 50cm and 1.50m and is mainly recognizable by its very fragrant white flowers. This flower is composed of flavonoids and especially of a salicylate derivative, a precursor to the most widely used medication in the world: aspirin.
It also plays a role in blood vessels, properties that are recognized and used in many slimming cures.
